Every now and then I like to try to express my appreciation for all the support there has been for infusion. infusion is a way of life for me, and to be able to support myself with my work is so dang awesome! I am really so grateful every day. I work super hard, often with long days and very late nights, but I have never been happier with my job, than I am at this point in my life.
As a gesture of thanks, I’d like to offer a chance to win a 2-Tone Tone in natural hemp and dark olive canvas. Please leave a comment below by midnight on Tuesday January 24. Though not required, I’d love to hear where you have seen infusion out on the world wide web, where you first found or heard about infusion, what’s your favorite design, or what you’d like to see appearing in the shop… or a little something about all of those, if you wish! One winner will be chosen at random next week.
Thank you!!
xo
P.S. Be sure to enter your email address into the comment form. It will not be visible to anyone but me, and it will allow me to contact you if you win!

How incredibly generous of you! Your work is always so beautiful, full of deep care, and skill. I would love to own this bag.
Hi!
I first saw the Infusion link in the Blogroll of Rennes, I think. And I really really love your blog, your ideas and your statements and style! It is so clear and simple and beautiful!
Kind regards from Germany!
Moni
I second the above comments on your generosity! I have been eying your bags for some time. I began subscribing to your blog after finding your bags on etsy. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Hello there!
I first ran across Infusion on Etsy…which of course led me to your blog and flickr photostream. I love your work! (and find it hard to pick a favorite piece, there are too many!).
I hope Infusion continues to bring you joy and success!
Take care!
Qiana
I love your ability to add a bit of flair to a very classic look.
Your bags makes me nostalgic for the L.L.Bean gear i grew up with. They would go perfect with a pair of blucher mocs. If only i still had mine!
Hello!
I can’t remember where I first saw the link to your blog and shop, but it was love at first sight. I love your bags, they’re the most pretty I’ve ever seen! I wish I could buy one of them, I’m still waiting for that opportunity to happen some day :)
My favourite of all time is the Rucksack in Cinnamon Brown!
But this one is lovely too, it would be sweet to have it…
Kind regards from Portugal! *
Oh my goodness, I have no idea how I originally came across you – perhaps a mention in a knitting blog? No matter, I love your bags – as a bag maker myself I love to see lovely styled pix of other bags, I love to see how people put bags together, it endlessly fascinates me! :-)
I found you searching for a bag on etsy. Yours are my absolute favorites. I’m especially fond of the Rogue and the 2 tone tote.
How generous of you. Thank you!
I think I first found you on etsy while looking for beautiful, natural things! I absolutely ADORE your rucksack. And your day pack.

I too cannot really remember how I found out about you. I believe someone had a link to your lovely fabric house shoes. Like Joana, it was love at first sight.
I really enjoy seeing photos of you with your products. You have such a lovely sense of style, and I love seeing the clothes you wear and how you accessorize with your beautiful work.
That’s one lovely bag!
I first found out about your store on Etsy, looking for beautiful bags. After visiting your blog and seeing your work, home and lifestyle, I immediatly became a fan.
I don’t really remember the first time I saw your work…I think it was on Etsy…and now I follow your blog daily. It’s really hard for me to choose the bag I prefer…I really loved the rucksacks and the daypacks (in Woven Wool with its beautiful strap)
What I would like to see in the shop : woven wool again, leather, weekenders and why not khaki fabrics..?
Clementine

Your work is so beautiful, thank you for such a fantastic giveaway. I believe I first heard of your work through a link on a blog called the habit of being. The two tone flap tote is my favorite design & I would love to see more Eco Toes in plaid.
Hello, I think I first came across you while browsing through Etsy. I loved your little camera bag, and then all your other bags too!
Ali
What an AmaZing give away! Thank you for the opportunity Abby *
I found you by way of coastal winds ~ a common friend ~ a crow in flight ^o^
My favorite bags would be in the day pack relm & camera bag. The give~a~way is a warm earthy color and very functional .
Sturdy natural colored eco fabrics are my favorites.
Im prone to industrial type day packs, not likely a big seller item to most~ but I bet you could make the best Abracadabra!

I saw your bags on Etsy. You are so talented, I really like your work and your thinking of life. I would like to have one of those beautiful bags. I love your blog and I am a regular reader.
Thank you and wish you all the best!
Susanna
So excited about your giveaway–I believe I first ran across your bags on Etsy…and now I am in love with your Blog- your photos are always so gorgeous and simple at the same time.
I’ve personally been eying your day pack bag ever since I spotted it. I’d love to see it customized with a second leather strap that you could snap into place across your torso (like a Timbuk bag) for riding on a bicycle.
Meg
Oh goodness, I don’t think many of us are helping much – I can’t remember where I found you! I think I came across your blog on etsy. I do love your bags and your blog. Being from the Pacific Northwest, I appreciate the simplicity in your products, colors and photos. Thank you!
Inspirational, utilitarian, and beautiful. Reminds me of taking a walk through a winter woods in January… and a grown up girl scout’s survival pack for life’s unknown.
Love these bags! I actually first found these bags from this blog and have been trying to muster up the money to buy won! Great give a way

I think your work is very beautiful! I would love to see more clutches or make up case type bags. I saw one you had done previously and I thought it was awesome!
I found you when you were Etsy’s Featured Seller! I’ve followed your blog ever since along with drooling over all your beautiful bags! I appreciate your blog very much. I love the peacefulness and inspiration it brings.

I was browsing around Etsy to find a gift for a friend when I found your shop. I had a handful of choices but what did it for me is the sustainability that goes in the creation of your bags! I bought a wristlet which my friend just absolutely loved! I’m looking forward to buying more, but a free bag would also be lovely!
Thanks and keep up the great work!
i just cannot believe that you are giving away one of your amazing bags! they are just stunning :) i am so happy for you & all of your success… your hard work is definitely evident in the beautiful pieces that you make.
i first saw your blog when you purchased a print from me. as my shop is starting, i am so thankful for your little purchase.
i just love your style & your blog :)
oh yes, email… natalie.j.freeman@gmail.com
I think I sew Infusions baby shoes on etsy. And that was the first time I heard anything about you. I liked them so much, so I had to visit your site. And then I become a follower :)
Since you live in USA, maybe you would like to know that I’m from Europe too (Serbia), just like a women from previous post.
I found you through Etsy’s FP a couple of weeks ago. And your blog is just perfect- the style is in keeping with the natural tones and earthy materials of your bags. I am totally coveting one of your bags! Thanks so much!
LemonJitters@gmail.com
I first saw your work on etsy, but I’ve loved seeing it on flickr and on your blog. I was surprised and more than a little pleased when I saw it mentioned by a friend on facebook. You do great work!
sure the image of your 2-Tone bag made me end up on this page, since both the canvas version and the herringbone wool version are my latest farovorites! You make a very generous offer to your followers, Abby… :)
I follow your work a long while on etsy, and also on flickr where your home environment shots show how much you are influenced by the nature surrounding you… your beautiful, clean-cut work and style are echoing it!
Hi!!
Firstly, I would like to thank you for gifting us with creative designs and a wonderful blog!!
I came across your blog from the link of resurrection fern a.k.a Margaret’s blog- (which one day I found out while searching for ‘how to decorate home with stones’ ) I regularly follow your blogs and often wonder how these people can be so creative!! Gosh!!
Some days, I feel pangs of creativity, but soon I find out, I am copying you people because my own creativity drain out in some moments :).
I dream often, I would, some day, write such blogs!!
Hearty thanks to you again.
Hi!
I first came across your work on Etsy, and then another blog linked specifically to your Weekender bag. I then discovered your blog, which I’ve since read avidly in its entirety – I really admire your lifestyle and aesthetic – especially your commitment to sustainable living! Was most enthralled by your entries on fixing up your house (which looks like such a lovely place to live with its labyrinthine lay-out and large lake-facing windows) and delighted to discover your gluten-free recipes, since my boyfriend has gluten intolerance.
I love your work for the way interesting way in which it combines materials and colours, the simple and clean lines and the touch of leather that makes them luxurious.
My favourite design – I bookmarked this post http://infusionfibers.wordpress.com/2010/06/06/shop-update-june-6/
for the Hemp and leather rounded tote which was posted, hoping that some day I might ask you to make it again.
What I’d like to see you make in in the shop – hmm, it’s always a delight to see OOAK posts of bags with unique fabric you’ve salvaged, such as the geometry tote (:
All the best with your business; you are an inspiration!
(:
How nice of you to give away your hardwork!
I found you on Etsy. The best craft site EVER!
I think my favorite things in your shop are the shoes. I love shoes.
Love your blog and thanks for letting us peak into your life.
Barbara
What a treat! I’d love to win that bag! I remember exactly the first time I saw these babyboots on Etsy: http://infusionfibers.wordpress.com/2009/05/10/for-the-girls/, I fell in love with them and since that time with your blog too. It is hard to choose a bag I prefer… I prefer them all! Just keep on doing what you are doing, ‘t is perfect. And thank you for the inspiration.
Sanne (from Belgium)
How fun to have a chance to win one of your wonderful bags! Thank you! I have the Two tone tote in hemp denim and wool and I love it. I get compliments on it all the time. I am short and I love that I don’t have to carry the bag over my shoulder if I don’t want to–the handles are short enough that the bag doesn’t drag on the ground when I carry it in my hand. I wish I remembered where I heard about you–but I don’t. (Maybe you could add that question to your purchase page?) For the future, I would like to see bags that could be washed. And, I sure would be pulling out my wallet if there were some coordinating bags to go inside my big bag and/or my purse to keep it better organized. Your work is beautiful. Thank you.
Hello! I don’t remember where I first read about infusion, but I know what it was – your lovely eco toes! And then I discovered that you make great bags too, wow. Your work inspires me very much, thank you!
I’d be delighted to have one of your bags, especially this one which I have been coveting for some time now. I came onto your blog from the link on another blog, I am not sure which one, probably Resurrection Fern.
Thanks a lot for the giveaway (even if I don’t win !)
Catherine
I found Infusion last March, a few days after I found Etsy! What a find! I now have two Ruche bags and wouldn’t trade them for all my friends fancy ‘Coach’ bags and purses. The emails I had with you during the order were so kind and sincere. That led me to reading your blog…and the inspiring messages and photos there led me back into doing more craft work and picking up my camera again. These are things I enjoyed but didn’t think I had the time for. Thanks for the inspiration! I’d love to see a bag to use for moms and babies. (My daughter is pregnant and she loves my Ruche!) I would like to see it have lots pockets, some inside and out, a boxy bottom so it sits flat on its own, and none of the cutsie fabrics – just the beautiful natural fabrics, colors and lines of your other bags.
I’ll try to say it in English!
I discovered your blog and your work by Valerie (un arc en ciel dans le lavabo)
I really love!, natural materials,colors …
bags so original (impossible for me to say wich one I prefer! )
céline from south of France
This is an amazing giveaway! I never win anything, but wanted to try :)
Your rucksack is my absolute favorite design- and I’m so glad you’re in the process of making it! The two-tone tote you’re giving away is absolutely beautiful. The camera bag is cool, too. I love your designs, impeccable taste and use of sustainable fibers.
Originally, I came across your Etsy shop while looking for bags and backpacks last summer. You are one of my first “favorites” in my shop :)
Thank you for being so kind during the creative process! I’m excited to receive my rucksack for grad school -and will definitely check back at your blog more often :)
Regards,
tamara
My roommate! Gimme that bag! Pleeease!
Hello Abby,
I found Infusion via the Etsy front page. My favorite design of yours is the rucksack, especially now that you have added the option of a shoulder strap! I would love it if you might make it in a fabric that was (fully) waterproof. I’ve been looking at many ‘farm-style’ backpacks and yours has a great design (plus it looks like it is proportioned for a woman who is, like me, not particularly tall).
Thanks for sharing about your work,
Kristina
Hi Abby! I love just about everything in your shop. I first came across your work while searching for a shoulder bag. I’ve also had my eye on a pair of your slippers for quite a while. I enjoy the serene simplicity of your goods and your photographs. Keep up the lovely work!
Hi!! I adore this bag – I just wish I had the extra cash lying around to purchase it and support you! I would if I could!
I saw/heard about your bags through another blogger who linked to your shop. This bag as well as the Herringbone version are my favorites :)
Hello!
I have only seen infusion online via your Etsy shop and blog; I first heard about you by searching “rucksack” on Etsy after a long and exhaustive search for the perfect backpack (it was a very exciting find after a lot of hopeless-seeming looking); my favourite design is the cinnamon brown rucksack (coming to me via mail soon!), and I’d love to see … beach bags in time for summer … maybe even with backpack straps! :)
Super inspired by your blog and growing business (And jealous of your home + workspace! But in a kind way)!
first off i love everything!!! especially your bags that include a touch of repurposed leather. I can’t remember exactly how I “found” you but perhaps it was that you found me first. If not it was through etsy. You are such a beautiful example of a maker of things who stays true to her own personal aesthetic through and through.

Hi there,
I adore each of your bags. Each style is so clean and versatile. Each piece is extremely functional and worthy of being incorporated into anyones wardrobe. The use of natural colors and textures is inspiring!
I heard of your site the other day through my friend Chelsea on her up and coming fashion blog. http://chelseawears.blogspot.com/
Your site was one of her first features and I have been obsessed ever since! The two-tone hemp and olive is my favorite bag followed closely by the herringbone wool.
You are very talented! Keep it up!
I stumbled upon your etsy shop and love the slippers I ordered from you. I’m saving my pennies for one of your beautiful rucksacks.
Hi Abby,
I love the two tone bag, I’ve been wanting it for a long time now. I found your store after searching for local shops in Oregon and was so amazed to see how gorgeous and intricate your designs are. Of course I also spend time checking updates on your blog, always giddy about seeing your newest designs! (I’m hoping you bring back the striped bags, I love nautical themes :) But I’ll probably be custom ordering one of those anyhow ;D ) It’s always exciting to see your products on other blogs, especially local ones like Modish who just featured your amazing bags.
Anyhow I’m responding right now to your message about my custom order rucksack (which I CAN’T WAIT for, I’m so excited to see it.)
Thank you for all your creativity and gorgeous designs, and most of all for representing Oregon!
How wonderful! I love your work and would love to win this tote. I just recently discovered your Etsy store — last week! I don’t remember where I first came across it, but it was from a design blog that featured the rucksack, which is my favorite design. I had to find out where to get it! The simplicity of your designs are great. I was actually stalking the two-tone tote that’s in your giveaway! I’d love to see more vintagey/distressed totes that have a patterned interior like the vintage canvas and plaid tote you had in the store at one time. I was so heartbroken when it sold so quickly! If you could replicate that look with some other materials that would be great.
Hi Abby,
I don’t really remember the first time that I saw your beautiful items but I know that it was love at first sight! Everything that you make is a perfect combo of feminine and masculine. The style is always impeccable and the mix of material is wonderful.
You are really an inspiration :)
Dear Abby,
i like your creations very much. The bags you sew look nice and comfortable. Your website is inspiring as well. I found a link to your shop on Valeries website. My favourite design is the new one – that is RUCKSACK. Keep on inspiring us with your items, ideas and words on your blog!
Best regards from Germany!
Natalia
Already being a happy costumer I’ve found you on Etsy but was really drawn thanks to your beautiful Flickr stream. I’m currently really digging the rucksacks – they are so awesome :) Good luck to all!
Hi Abby — don’t count me in because I already own some infusion goodness at my house — but I’d like to tell the world how beautiful your work is !!! so, the winner will be a super lucky one :)
And to your question it’s been a while & I’ve been a lurker for long so I don’t remember well, but I think I saw your bags on flickr first, or maybe via blogroll… you’ve been one of my pivotal finds, such a beautiful person inside out & so talented.
I like everything you make. truly. therefore no favorite designs, but I’d say I like the leather touches you’ve included this part year, a lot !
Stay true, stay yourself, and this will show to your work, as always <3
I just love your bags, and the color combos you use are just perfect. I think I first ran across your blog when I saw your bags on etsy, it’s been a while though. I wander around allot of crafter blogs so it may have been that way too. I do so love reading your blog and it’s one of my top sites in my bookmark menu. Be well and keep inspiring us all.
Oh, Abby, it’s so kind from you! I’m very happy to participate, and I hope these comments will be an help for your business. I discovered your blog probably from another one (maybe Melissa’s TinyHappy). I’m absolutely in love with the Rucksack – but I love everything you make! I’d love to see… Maybe something for the home? Thank you again for being so fantastic! Ciao!
I love your bag in first glance.
As a mother of a one year old baby, I think it can be a good diaper bag in style as I am tired of looking for one as all of them are big and bulky.
Your bag is definitely an alternate choice for a mum who want to look great. :)

Oh, I just found your lovely bags today on the blog You are my Fave. How lucky that you’re having a giveaway, and how generous of you! I’m smitten with the Ruche, the Rogue, and the tote.
Hello! I absolutely love your designs. This two-tone tote is actually my favourite of your bags and I also really love the Rogue, the Day Pack, and the Messenger. I’ve also really enjoyed your blog. Hope you’re well and keep inspiring us all!
Hi! I first discovered your etsy and your amazinggggg rucksack (which I am currently lusting over) on unruly things. Can’t wait to save up some money and splurge on myself. Take care and good luck with the business!
what a wonderful gesture!
i came across your shop after seeing a bag in someone’s flickr photo & asking after it.
i instantly fell in love with the rucksack style & my beloved partner bought me one for christmas. it’s become my favorite bag – for trips to the library to stock up on books and movies, going to the record store (vinyl fits beautifully in the backmost section), or just being out and about.
i’m now following your blog & flickr photostream & finding them all both inspirational and soothing….
so thank you!
Hi, Abby!
For first, should be a year ago, I saw your eco toes at an Etsy front page.
I appreciate very much your creativity, your fine taste and your exigent, high quality work. I have to tell you, with all this you helped me a lot in my decision to open a shop at Etsy. (I’m very excited because I’ve just shipped the first sold item, bought by a foreign buyer. … do you remember these feelings?)
Is very exciting to feel how the world is opening… All around the world I’m discovering inspiring people with tastes, attractions, points of view like mine. And the differences also are very interestings!
I’ve discovered your blog few weeks ago and I’ve just taught to contact you.
I like your totes, because this is exactly my style, would love to win this one – and I like your feminine rogue too: I don’t have things like, but they are really cheerful!
Keep it up!
The bests from Hungary,
Klara
Yesterday I’ve published exactly about the lights in my room… My blog is in hungarian but you are invited to visit it!
Hi, I wish I could remember how I ran across you. Like many other commenters, I’m not sure, but I’m glad I did.
I love what you make, and your blog. Your style resonates with me, and I love to read what you write about. I admire the way you live.
My favorite of your items is the tote. I love the simple and subdued colors you use, and I also have admired the ones made of reclaimed wool.
I’ve been happy for you to see your sales grow on Etsy and I hope that success continues for you and that you continue to do what you love as long as you love it.
Best wishes to you!
abby, your work is simple and beautiful and elegant. no need to include me in the giveaway because i’ve already bought one of your beautiful bags, but i wanted to tell you, you’re an inspiration!
I first stumbled onto Infusion Fibers combing my way through Etsy, and from there made my way to your blog. It’s always lovely to read your blog and see all the little ways you find inspiration in what’s around you, it reminds me to do the same. Thanks for the opportunity!
Stunning piece that goes straight to the heart. Thank you for sharing your work with us and also a thank you to my friend Chelsea who recommended your shop and blog (bet you are reading this, chels). This bag put me in a certain mood and I made a quick playlist to go along with it. Hope you enjoy!

I also think your aesthetic would translate really well to chairs. I saw your DIY makeover and anything Danish Modern gets me. I have been craving the right chair for my room and clearly I have seating on my mind. I feel like you could design the perfect chair with a buckle or something. Maybe a wood, leather, canvas combination? Weird, but I thought I would share.
Love love love this bag. I found your site through my friends blog, MollyBerries Hodgepodge. I cant wait to see all these great things Molly says your blog and shop encompass!
Jessica.Rowland@Yahoo.com
Found your blog through a friend’s blog. LOVE this bag and scarf!! You are very talented! :)
Found your blog through a friend’s blog and this bag SERIOUSLY has me drooling! Can’t wait to read more!
Discovered you from my friend Molly who just got a bag from you and blogged about your amazingness. I would LOVE to have that gorgeous piece in my life. Can’t wait to keep your blog in my reading rotation!
I discovered Infusion Fiber bags on Etsy. I was looking for a perfect tote bag and a messenger bag and Infusion Fiber bags are just perfect. Unfortunately, I can’t afford it right now but I am always checking your website to see which one I want:D
I am a packaging designer in NYC. I love cats and dogs.
