Ordering supplies is an ongoing, necessary task in keeping up with a sewing business (or any business for that matter). At first, this task seemed like a big interruption from my flow (and still can at times) due to it’s sometimes time-consuming nature. Fortunately, I have since found a few suppliers that I can return to again and again.
Kung Fu Cowgirl, by far, makes the ordering and receiving of supplies the most fun and easy ever! I found her etsy shop quite some time ago while looking for zippers. She has an incredible selection of zippers, in many colors and sizes, which she keeps well stocked. Her orders ship FAST, her shipping rates are excellent, and she is always super responsive to questions and requests for custom orders.
As a fun addition, she includes little treats in every package (like the big kelley green heart ring above! or the hedgehog and fruit friend below on my cork board). In her shop you will also find other supplies, as well as cute zippy pouches made with kawaii inspired fabrics, pocket mirrors, magnets and more.
