Infusion represents a collection of hand designed, hand sewn, high quality, natural fiber textile and leather work.
Every item is thoughtfully constructed, from start to finish, by Abby Meadow, in her home loft studio on the Oregon coast.
… In my work, I strive to create durable and long lasting items that are both functional and beautiful. I am drawn to natural fibers, with an emphasis on organic cotton canvas, waxed cotton canvas, hemp, and vegetable tanned leather. In my own life, I make every effort to be kind and gentle to the earth and to the life forms that live here. My work is a natural, creative extension of the things I value, and the care in which I approach life and those around me.
I am self taught; a strongly focused self-learner, and am continually working on improving my skills and adding to my skill set. When I’m not sewing and working with leather I also enjoy wood carving, photography, gardening and spending time in nature.

Hi Fatima, Thank you. I use a Canon 5D Mark II.
Appreciate your work! Would you be interested in expanding your market to Hong Kong/Asia? If you would be interested in it, please email me to for getting the details.
Just want to say that (in addition to making beautifully crafted products) your blog is fantastic. I wrote a post about a pair of your baby booties…that’s how I stumbled into your blog. It’s rare that I find a blog worth returning to, but from the writing to the photos to the natural theme, yours is a great read.

Would you consider making a small leather or organic canvas satchel bag with a zip top rather than a flap over top? I love the “Small Satchel in Stone Waxed Canvas and Leather // Weather Resistant // Organic Cotton Canvas Lining” but I don’t like using a flap over bag. Also, I would like it about 1/3 shorter than this bag, reducing the size in height. The outside large pocket would not be necessary, and I would love the inside organizer and also a zipper pocket on the opposite side as the organizer. Are you seeing my vision?!

Hi, I love your work. and wanted you to know that I want to follow your dream. I know that you are a well busy person but can I get some tips from you. ;) I would like you to write to me please. Thanks and good luck.
Hi Abby, I stumbled upon your works on etsy and fell in love with your designs! Would you consider replacing leather with another non-animal natural material? That’s the only contending factor that prevents me from pressing the purchase button :(
Discovered you in Country Living magazine profile (back issue May 2012).Love your work, your ambition, your reverence for nature! Wishing you well.
Thank you! I really appreciate that.
Visited your site before and it was closed are ou still making bags ?
Hi, yes! Just taking a little bit of time off. The shop will reopen in a few weeks.
Hi Abby- thanks so much for stopping by my blog site.:) It’s a joy to know that we are following each other. Your talents are inspiring… <3

I have just randomly found you and your shop and your work; and I am knocked over by how I feel about it all. It’s just amazing work. I wish I could buy everything, keep most, share some, and gift a few. One thing I am interested in, but cannot find how to buy, is your wooden kitchen utensils. Please do tell….
